MY STORY...
In 2018, I began and have since completed a goal to travel to all 50 states, every major American city, and 20 countries in Europe. Traveling the world has been a big part of my life, and has shaped how I see myself and those around me.
- I've felt the weight/awe of history while walking through places that shaped the world.
- I've witnessed breathtaking landscapes that left me in awe of nature's raw beauty.
- I experienced danger that brought me face-to-face with dangerous and uncomfortable situations.
- I've gained a greater appreciation for the fragility and resilience of life.
- I've learned that kindness transcended language barriers and appears in the most unexpected places.
- I've realized the privilege of freedom and opportunity by seeing how others lived with less.
- I've gainded empathy by seeing the world's imperfections and the struggles of people from inequality, healthcare/welfare gaps, and environmental concerns.
- I've affirmed that true wealth is not just material but comes from experiences, relationships, and personal growth.
- I've discovered the importance of slowing down, savoring the moment, and appreciating the present instead of always chasing the next thing.
- I've found a deeper respect for the value of home and the people who make it meaningful.
Whether it's the rugged beauty of the American West or the history and culture of Europe, I've always been inspired to capture those moments. I'll be sharing a video from my Eastern Europe trip this summer, and I can't wait to show the incredible places I explored and the stories they hold.
